Please register your poster by Sunday here!
As in previous years, the 2025 EBSS will include a poster session, offering participants the opportunity to present their current research to fellow attendees, as well as to the EBSS Directors and Instructors.
The session will take place on Tuesday evening at 7:15 PM at the Clark Kerr Campus, following dinner. It will take place at an outdoor space, make sure you are prepared for the weather.
Posters should not exceed 47” x 47” in size. You are free to use any orientation that fits within these dimensions.
Mounting hardware will be provided, and prizes will be awarded for the top posters!
Please note: we are organizing a session to accommodate everyone who declared their intention to present a poster during registration. If you have changed your mind about presenting, please inform the organizers as soon as possible.
On Wednesday's program, the students will have a chance to have guided visit through the Advanced Light Source.
For safety reasons, anyone on the ALS experimental floor must wear long pants (or equivalent) and closed-toe shoes. We recommend comfortable walking shoes.
The typical tour route includes walking up and down a flight of stairs and being near a strong magnetic field exceeding 5 Gauss (not a problem for credit cards but can be one for someone with a pacemaker). If this is an issue for one or more participants or there are other accessibility challenges, please let us know in advance.
Our school’s banquet will be held on Friday evening and will feature a keynote lecture titled 'Trends and Directions in Nuclear Science' by Dr. Reiner Kruecken, Director of the Nuclear Science Division at LBNL.
More information will be added soon.
